Swim Mom New Features

Print Friendly

Hey everyone –  First, I want to say THANK YOU to all those that have contacted me for guidance. While I love to respond to e mails and LOVE the following, it’s very helpful if I can respond to comments from posts with the information, that way everyone that may be looking for the same thing can get it too.  So please, use the contact page, but also please please comment on posts as our purpose is to share the information with all of our followers and get a dialogue going. I have been getting a ton of e mails about learn to swim classes and programs. Swimmom is geared to competitive swimming, but every Olympic Champion had to get wet for the first time; and chances are they did it at quality swim programs. So hence our new features.

The title is new features – one new feature is a guest blog from a certified nutritionist and doctor of chiropractic.  She has helped Jenna stay in top shape and helped us feed her the right things and get her a routine of stretching and work outs.  She will be giving us information every so often and we will be sharing it with all of you in the categories of Nutrition and also Fitness. Another new feature is learn to swim information. I will be posting information about clubs, programs, and classes (in the Top Clubs section).  I have been in contact with some very experienced people through my research for the followers and would like to share it with you.  We are also putting a national map on there to show the location of the clubs we have either been in contact with, lightly researched, or come recommended, or have first hand knowledge of their dedication to the sport of swimming. Spire Institute home of the Lake Erie Silver Dolphins in Geneva Ohio will be the first added as that is our club and we highly recommend it.   If you are a club, or would recommend one of distinction, please share it with me.  I will contact them for some further information and after some research I will gladly post their info to the blog and share the knowledge with all of you.

In the next couple days we will be putting all the information on the Top Clubs tab so check back (often – and SUBSCRIBE too!) and please get us anything you would like to see on there. This map will be a constant work in progress as we are taking it national and want to research each program and club before we put it on the map for you to check out.  For now it will be small but it will continue to evolve so check back!!
